There are a number of events that forever have changed the world through powerful leadership and an idea whose time had come: Ending of slavery, homosexuality, banning of whale killing (even though Norway and Japan are obstructing), restoration of the ozon layer, women’s right to vote, the French revolution, stopping death penalty (also with some important exemptions). It gives hope to realise that through all times (and even without internt) people have succeded in communicating groundbreaking ideas that have reached wide acceptance. To do something about the climate is an idea whose time has come. But the leadership? Has the world become to big for leadership?
